PVEI Pole Vault Camps

Welcome to the PVEI Pole Vault Camp Site

The Pole Vault Education Initiative was founded by Coach Mark Hannay, USATF

Regional Chairman for Pole Vault, with the goal of furthering Pole Vault Education.

In furthering his goals, the PVEI is sponsoring Pole Vault Camps in the summer of

2009.

The Camp

An intensive Pole Vault experience. Vaulters will participate in:

- 8 vaulting sessions

- 9 Drill Sessions

- Video Vault Analysis

- 9 Classroom Sessions, including:

- basic pole vault theory

- pole vault pole construction

- pole selection and advancement

- competition and performance tools

- advanced vault analysis

The Coaches

The camp is organized and coached by three highly successful Pole Vault Coaches all of whom were specifically trained by Coach Hannay . They have all had many years experience coaching camps, including the former Slippery Rock Pole Vault Camp under Coach Hannay. (click on the coaches name for further information on the coach)

in addition to other very successful college and high school coaches.

Camp Costs

The camp will cost $435. This includes:

- room and board from Saturday morning to Thursday morning

- Camp T-Shirt, Camp Manual

- All Instruction and Camp Activities
