2008 POLE VAULT EDUCATION INITIATIVE (PVEI)

BOYS POLE VAULT CAMP

Don Dravenstott has been a volunteer pole vault coach for Green Local Schools

(Smithville, OH) for the past ten years. His first two years he was involved with the

junior high school program and the remaining time has been spent coaching the high

school pole vaulters. Coach Dravenstott has had the opportunity to be involved in the

development of state qualifiers and medalists with both the girls and boys programs at

Smithville. Coach Dravenstott has had vaulters continue their vaulting careers in college

at the Division I, II, and III levels
